Meet Our Experts!

Please join our doctors on either Tuesday, October 23rd or Thursday, October 25th for an informal presentation to see if you could benefit from chiropractic care.  Hear about the latest chiropractic treatment options and drug-free approaches to pain relief.  Visit with our doctors, ask questions, receive free gifts, and more.

We are excited to offer potential patients the opportunity to personally meet the doctors at our two facilities, and find out what chiropractic is all about.  We will have demonstrations to show you the newest services that we offer including Kinesio Taping, Graston Technique, and Active Release Technique.  You'll have the chance to ask our doctors questions about general topics as well as specific concerns.

We also invite you to explore our website - www.schubberesch.com - to see the many services we offer.  Our goal is to get our patients out of pain as quickly as possible, and to give them tools to keep themselves out of pain.

Kinesiotape for Student Athletes

Many of you saw various athletes at the summer Olympics in London wearing colorful athletic tape.  Swimmers, triathletes, soccer players, beach volleyball players, and others were all seen with "Kinesiotape" on various regions of their body.

The practical benefits of Kinesiotape are that Kinesiotape will last 2-3 days on average, it won't fall off after showering or sweating from athletic activity, and athletes can experience full range of motion compared to conventional athletic tape.

Kinesio Tape is applied to various soft tissue injuries of the fascia, ligaments, tendons, and muscles in the areas of the legs, arms, spine, and torso.  General indications for Kinesio Taping are soft tissue swelling, spasm, and poor muscle firing.
The most common soft tissue athletic injuries treated by Kinesio Tape are:
  1. Ankle Sprain-Strains
  2. Shin Splints
  3. Calf and Achilles Sprain-Strains
  4. Knee Injuries
  5. Quad-Hamstring-Groin Sprain-Strains
  6. Hip and IT Sprain-Strains
  7. Cervical, Thoracic, and Lumbar Sprain-Strains
  8. Shoulder Impingement and Rotator Cuff Sprain-Strains
  9. Tennis and Golfers Elbow Sprain-Strains
  10. Carpal Tunnel and Sciatic Nerve Entrapments

So if you are, or have, a student athlete that is experiencing any of the above injuries, consider giving Kinesio Tape a try.  Our offices have had great success treating patients with Kinesio Tape verses traditional athletic tape. Call 920-738-0200 (Appleton) or 920-720-0660 (Neenah) to schedule your appointment.
