Dr. McRae announces his retirement

Dr. McRae will retire from active practice on Friday, July 30, 2021. Here is a letter written from him to his patients and friends.

Dear Patients and Friends,
I have often talked about writing a book - the title: "All Spines Straight and Crooked, the adventures of a chiropractor in small town Wisconsin". Of course, this epic would cover 40 years of the career of a young man (not so young anymore!) who was able to care for and to care abut his many patients - ranging from infants to some over 100 years old.
He treated five generations of families and the many stories that came through the front door would fill the pages of this book with laughter, tears, celebrations, prayers, encouragement, and hope. This doctor was truly blessed to be a part of thousands of people's lives and he would tell you that he didin't see patients - he considered them all his friends.
Any really good book has just the right number of pages. It leaves the reader happy that they read something that helped, taught, and maybe even inspired. The author leaves them wanting more, the book is too good to end! And yet the final chapter of this book will be "written" over the course of the next few weeks as my days in practice come to an end.
This letter is to share with you that I will retire from active practice on Friday, July, 30, 2021. (Until then I will continue to see patients on my normal office hours.)
Every good book has acknowledgements, the author thanking those who have made the adventure possible. I would like to thank the true author of my life, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has made this life possible. And a special thank you to you, my patients and friends, for trusting me with your health and for sharing your lives with me. It has been an incredible honor for me to serve you as your chiropractor.
I am leaving you in good hands as Schubbe Resch Chiropractic and Physical Therapy will continue to work as a team to serve you and your family.
Most sincerely,
Dr. James McRae, D.C
