Three Easy and Healthy Super Bowl Appetizers

Super Bowl parties mean lots of friends, fun, and food.  Although you can't control what other people serve, you can bring some healthy appetizers to share that you know are full of low calories, high quality ingredients.  Give one or all three of these a try!


Here’s an easy and healthy “chips and dip” recipe to try this Super Bowl Sunday.  The chickpeas provide fiber and protein without a lot of calories.


You can impress your friends without  a lot of fuss with these mini tomato and mozzarella skewers.  Toothpicks will also work if you don’t have wooden skewers.  Consider serving with a variety of vinegars and oils for dipping.


Serve this easy 3 ingredient gazpacho in tall shot glasses garnished with cucumber sticks and cocktail shrimp for an unusual and eye-catching appetizer.
